Reg has over 30 years’ experience in the insurance services industry, previously working within the banking industry throughout Queensland, then joining his father in Gympie as a Suncorp Insurance Adviser in 1994. Reg is an experienced insurance broker specialising in Insurance Broking and Risk Management, Commercial, Rural and Business Insurance. Reg is passionate about helping clients protect themselves and their businesses by providing tailored insurance solutions. Reg is a member of the Australian Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) and a part of the National Insurance Broker Association (NIBA) through his association with Ausure and the Steadfast network of insurance brokers. Reg is also a Qualified Professional Insurance Broker (QPIB).
Tom Leis | Director

Tom joined our family business in 2018. He has 7+ years insurance broking experience and provides our clients with commercial insurance advice as well as handling all aspects of commercial, rural and domestic insurance. He holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of the Sunshine Coast and is currently completing his Diploma of Insurance Broking. Now as a Director and third generation insurance expert, Tom prides himself on ensuring clients are well protected and provided with the best possible outcome in the event of a claim.
Katherine Richards | Snr. Account Manager

Katherine has over 17 years of commercial insurance experience, having worked for various size insurance brokerages across the East Coast of Australia as well as a large national insurer dealing with all aspects of commercial insurance. Katherine brings a wealth of commercial broking knowledge and expertise to the Reg Leis team, in a wide range of industries and niche markets, which enable her to place tailored insurance solutions for clients. Katherine is a true professional with a Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking) qualification, as well as holding ANZIIF Senior Associate, Certified Insurance Professional and NIBA Qualified Practicing Insurance Broker (QPIB) memberships.

Dave has over 18 years experience in the insurance services industry, including 9 years as a Commercial Insurance Consultant with Suncorp and many years as Director of his own insurance broking firm, Coastal Business Insurance, before merging with Reg Leis Insurance Services in Dec 2025. Dave holds a Diploma of Insurance Broking and is committed to ensuring peace of mind for clients, with a high importance on integrity, courtesy and individual attention to your requirements.
Leigh Dombrow | Snr. Account Manager

Leigh has specialised in the insurance industry for most of her career, coming from an underwriting and client support background with 10+ years as a Suncorp Commercial Insurance Consultant before moving into insurance broking. As part of the Coastal Business Insurance team for the past 15 years, Leigh has been working with clients in a way that builds a level of trust that can be relied upon over the long term, finding tailored insurance solutions that are a good fit, whether it be seeking out a new cover, renewing an existing cover or resolving a claim matter to get the best possible outcome. As an experienced Snr. Account Manager, Leigh can assist with all aspects of commercial insurance for various businesses and occupations as well as property owners.

Lachie joined our team in 2024 after working long term with a national insurer in a variety of roles. Lachie has completed a Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification and enjoys looking after people’s wide and varied needs, ensuring clients are properly protected and provided with the best possible outcome in the event of a claim.

Nikki joined the family business in 2010 after a number of years’ working as a teacher within the education system. Nikki has a range of experience in administration and makes sure the office runs smoothly for the Reg Leis team.
