The Importance of Insurance
With the coronavirus-induced exodus out of our cities into regional Australia, a spotlight is shining on what many of us already know. Regional towns are great places to live, work and play.
We consider ourselves lucky to live here in regional Queensland. We have space, and lots of it. We have easy access to freshly grown food. We have plenty of world class tourist destinations on our doorstep. We have vibrant and welcoming communities filled with a variety of businesses servicing not only us as locals but customers Australia wide. Plus we’re experiencing a boom in our local housing market.
Like many other business owners in regional towns across Australia, we have the opportunity to provide our services to a much broader audience than just where we live. Digital platforms have levelled the playing field. They’ve opened up plenty of opportunities for small businesses to find their target market and successfully compete with some of the big players. The pandemic has increased opportunities for people to move out of urban areas and embrace new lifestyles.
How has COVID-19 impacted us?
As a local professional services business, we’ve continued to help people navigate the changes that 2020 and the global pandemic have brought to how they operate both as individuals and business owners. Some businesses have never had it so good, others didn’t manage to survive the initial shut down while many more have had to make changes to the way they operate. Everyone’s experience has been different. One thing that hasn’t changed is how we do business as local insurance brokers. We’ve continued to provide guidance and advice, better policy wordings and a broader level of support to clients.
We’ve continued to work in partnership with clients to protect what’s important to them and deliver good outcomes in the moments that matter. We’ve worked hard to stay accessible to clients, maintain strong relationships with insurance providers and continue to offer great service and value to our community throughout 2020 and now into 2021.

We absolutely love where we live and work. It’s a great part of Australia and we feel very grateful to continue supporting our local community and all of our clients throughout 2021 and beyond.
